Are the kicker amps really what they're all hyped up to be? Are they pretty efficient? I can't seem to find the distortion rate or the efficiency % anywhere.

Anyone know?

they are good amps. after lots of research I bought the Kicker ZX1500.1

honestly, as long as your signal isnt being clipped you wont notice a differance.

i had a power acoutik a3000bd that sounded JUST AS CLEAN as my mojo 4kw. Unless you have a substage setup for SQ, you probly wont notice much of a differance even with a "SQ amp" with super low THD%.

Kicker amps ARE that bad ***. There was a test done on this very forum by respected members showing the zx 2500.1 doing roughly 90% efficency at 1 ohm, AND they're under rated...not bad eh?
