Aka: Entrapmentit is, except now they can incredibly easily bait people. and i am under the full assumption that they are going to be trying to bait people to race, and for someone like me that doesnt want to race, but when someone is on the highway next to me and wont let me over i speed up, i already know they are going to be like "he was racing!"
.
not exactly... a cop does not have to tell you that he/she is an officer. however, they cannot deny it. its a very fine line.Aka: Entrapment
And this is definantly a problem, considering they may just like your car, and bam, your racing."driving is voluntary. racing is voluntary. no one is forcing you to"
its just up to the discression of the police officer as to what they are going to consider racing... and then its going to come down to your word vs them, and guess who's side is going to win...
yeah, thats what im feeling. And this is definantly a problem, considering they may just like your car, and bam, your racing.
Thats not the part i was referring to, im talking about taking peoples property.Where is the right to street race in the constitution?
obtaining a drivers lisence is not a birth given right... it is a priveledge that must be earned.Thats not the part i was referring to, im talking about taking peoples property.
Speeding period is against the law, so now do i have to worry about them making it a law that if you speed, you get your car taken?
the constitution just says "unreasonable searches and seizures" if you have something that is made to break a law, ie a car made the street race, then why is confiscating it so wrong?Thats not the part i was referring to, im talking about taking peoples property.

so take the fcking license, not the car.obtaining a drivers lisence is not a birth given right... it is a priveledge that must be earned.
and in the process of earning your drivers lisence you have already contractually agreed to the punishments implied by breaking the rules set forth by the governing body (DMV) including the confiscation of your vehicle.
