Just saw it tonight, not a bad movie. The movie could have been a lot worse if they didn't cast Johnny Depp. I give it a 7/10.

I thought the movie was the new definition for the word "ghey".

The old one was alot better IMO.

Was it me or did they make Willy Wonka out to be Micheal Jackson?.

I think Johnny Depp is a great actor, that's probally why I liked the movie. If they casted anyone else, it would have been a complete disaster.

I give props to the acting, it was pretty good all around.

Other than that the weird disjointed flashbacks to Wonka's past and lack of character developement made this a pretty poor flick.

Gene Wilder was genius in the original and overall the original had more magic to it. Lack of CG is one big reason.
