helped my buddy re-wire his system, and need to charge his cap back up before I install it.

I've never used a cap, so can someone tell me what I ahve to do to charge it.?

Do I just run a wire from cap pos to battery pos, and cap neg to battery neg until full voltage is reached?

thanks

I just use a Light from a Car with Power ground leads..

Power on the cap from the batt & Hold the other lead to the Ground wire..

when the Light gose out you have about 20sec before you explode..

I meen to hook it up..

Peace Troy

just to get it straight.........

get a bulb w/ wires coming off the leads. run a wire from battery, to lead on bulb, from other lead on bulb to cap. then just run a ground wire from battery neg to cap neg??

can i buy a bulb that has wires on it already from an auto parts store???

Thanks....just dont wanna F anything up.

I tried to tell him caps are useless, and to do the big 3, but he doesnt believe me.
