i got a mmats jug home just doing nothing

was thinking if i put a treo ssx coil in it (2500rms)

will it improve power handling

its the 1500 rms jug with the 12 spoke

bottom line will i gain ????????????

You'll gain nothing. Not worth the effort unless you just have the parts sitting around already.

Wouldn't work SSX is a 4" coil and the Jugg is a 3". And even if u went from say a copper 4 layer round to a ccaw 8 layer flat I don't see u gainin 1000 watt power handling...

i find is curious that people think power handling makes something louder. you really should be looking for a higher sensitivity driver or a system that gives you more SPL with less driver excursion demands. 6th order for example or a horn, etc etc.........

also, any coil that would fit in any motor would have to be the original coil to a very close tolerance, lol. nothing will change.
