Changing amps?

I looked through the site, everything is so expensive, I'm trying to keep it around $200ish and I don't see that happening on there everything Under $400 is a monoblock. I might just have to go with the Zues in my daily driver, should have another car in a next year and it will get competition audio setup in it, but if I can get a comparable or a little better for around the same price, that'd be great.
If you're running one set each of those Kappas (front and rear) you don't need dirty watts from the Zeus. Take a look at the gmd8604. 150x4 at 2ohm is more than enough.

The Scosch EFX hd series are good component amps 2. I had an hd6004 runnin my Alpine components for a while they they have nice clear sound quality.

That's what I said something that can be bought at walmart...but the execelon series is no that, it is actually better than the one I have. Like i said 5v preouts and 13band eq, the comparible Alpine is onle 9band eq and 4v preouts, plus this has nav and timecorrection same as any other spl headunit. This years Double din sq headunits with NAV I've seen ranked at: #1 Pioneer AVIC-8000NEX, # 2. Kenwood DNN990HD, # 3. JVC KW-NT810HDT, # 4. Pioneer AVIC-7000NEX, # 5. Alpine INE-Z928HD (the alpine I was looking at getting), # 6. Clarion NX603.

Trust me it was a very hard sell for me, but the "Kenwood's and "JVC's" you see at walmart ar mostly made theird pary and slapped with the label, the higher end (Pioneer premier) are actually good.
It's not just I prefer alpine. That alpine is one of the last amazing Alpine audiophile HUs. It has TA, strong 4v puts. There is zero benifit going to 5v from 4v. It has a graphic and parametric EQ. If you just want NAV I get it but if you think you are going to get better sound quality you are wrong.

I second this. The alpine would sound way better.
At first I wanted the Alpine CDE-HD149BT I got my 117 because it was the last sql head unit, and then this came out, with all the extra's built in. Then I thought if im already buying a headunit I might as well get an amazing one, so the Alpine INE-Z928HD came into play. The Kenwood Excelon DNN991HD just seemed better with the 13 band instead of the 9

As far as the amps do you think I should just keep the F550 (125 x 4 @2ohms) and the F300 ( 75 x 4 @2ohms) and run them bridged to each set (I dont think these amps are stable bridged at 2ohms?)?

Or I can replace the F300 with Alpine MRX-F65 160W RMS x 4 @ 2 Ohms, 320W RMS x 4 [bridged] @ 4 Ohms?

I looked at the Pioneer GM-D8604 (125W RMS x 4 @ 2 Ohms) but my 550 already runs that, and for $50 more I can get the F65. I saw the Cadence CSA1000.4 also I thought cadence was a good brand? (also I am running on like 2 hours of sleep and I'm leaving for work, probably edit this post in an hour or so.)

you can always get a PPI P900.4 from amazon. its around 200$

very reputable budget amp that puts out great power PASMAG | PERFORMANCE AUTO AND SOUND - Precision Power P900.4 Amplifier a full detailed test and review on it.

It'll stomp out any hifonics 4 channel out there. Hifonics is not known for having good 4 channels either.

However the subwoofer amp, you might want to wait till your budget grows and get something a little better. The with the zues series, you'd have to buy the 3000.1 zues and it'll barely put out 1200-1500 watts rms. Whats the budget for the sub amp?

No, they need to run at 4 ohms bridged. The 8604 actually runs 150x4 @2 ohms.
I misquoted, that is correct

I can get that around $130 and thats going to be better than the 2000W and the alpines?

I really like that looks of that amp, Class D makes me happy, seems to have decent reviews online and its $199.

I was going to run the Brutus series, since they are actually CEA compliant

Hifonics BRX2000.1D

Hifonics BRX2000.1D After tax and shipping $199

Budget is probably around $200, but I also have to 2 monos that I'm running now that are 500W RMS each and they are alpine, wondering if its worth the upgrade to get those extra "peaks".

Man i already told you about peak power and how CEA compliant doesnt mean jack sh*t lol. You will see a performance increase yes, go for it if thats your budget. If you can, find a brx 2400 used, that will give you closer to 2000 actual watts. The brx 2000 is only a 1500-1600 watt amp.

However if you buy hifonics, be ready to upgrade your alternator, AGM batteries and 0 gauge wiring all around with the big 3 also. Because you'll be dropping voltages left and right on stock electricals.

If peak doesnt matter then Why dont I just keep my 500RMS Class D amps I have now? I'm just trying to understand, why upgrade if I'm already maxed out?

I am definitely doing big 3, would like to run alt to battery also, and my battery is already in my trunk so that helps a lot with battery to amps, already running optima yellowtop.

The only thing is finding another mono that big for cheap that isn't soundstream.

Why does it drop so much, its a class D, doesnt that make it much more efficient?

Its because of inherent design of all the parts used inside it. Its cheap for a reason.

I Already told you why your two alpine amps does't perform up to par in post # 10, i'm not gonna repeat myself man. Phase issues are real, read up on it.

I understand why, just wondering if they would be better than the zues, with voltage drops and low quality and such.

dont get me wrong, its a world of difference going from zues to brutus. If you can, find the older brutus elites or BRZ series, they put out more power then the newer lines.
I can get the Hifonics BRZ2100.1D refurbished for $193.50

2100 x 1 @ 1 ohms

(and its cea certified //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/happydance.gif.a963168fea27d8453c3ec467ddcf9e1c.gif lol )
