steelers barely made the playoffs, they knock carson palmer out of the game, nick harper had a chance to return that ball for a TD but was hampered with a knee injury, one of the most accurate kickers in nfl history, misses a makable field goal in an indoor stadium, then pittsburgh gets all the calls go their way in the superbowl, they didn't exactly dominate.
You do have a point.

Then again like Mike said, its over. So all we can do is hope they go down in a blaze of glory, minus the glory!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Yep, it's settled.............you're a hater. Plain and simple.

So they didn't dominate Denver? They didn't dominate Indy up till the last 5 minutes? They did knock out Palmer but they beat the Bengals in Cincy earlier that year with a fully healthy Carson Palmer, or did you forget that part? The Polamalu interception that was taken away was a major turning point in that game as it gave Indy new life. If Bettis hadn't fumbled they never would have had a chance to miss a kick. Vanderjackass missed a few makeable kicks tonight too so I wouldn't say he is that great of a kicker.

My question to you is where were the Lions at that time of the season?? They were at home weren't they. Sometimes you need a little luck to win games, I will not deny that. But there were no bad calls when Willie Parker broke off that 75 yard TD run. There were no bad calls when Randle El hit Ward for that long TD pass. Ben crossed the goal line whether the official called it right away or not. So even if that offensive pass interference wasn't called on Jackson in the end zone the score would still have been 21-17. Hate all you want they overcame adversity which is what all GREAT teams do. I guess that means the Lions aren't a GREAT team doesn't it.??
