Certain frequencies stopped playing! what could be wrong?

Just like the title says, I have a pair of Morel Elates and they all of the sudden stopped playing certain frequencies that I know are in the song. I set the gain properly so I dont think they are blown and I looked at the crossovers and nothing seems to be burned, is there anything I can do to figure this out? I know its not my Ipod because I tried a different Ipod and its the same thing! certain guitar sounds and the beginning of some songs wont play at all. What could this be?

go to radio shack.. get a 3.5mm jack to rca converter.. plug ipod directly into amp.. play a song go from there..

Ok I just checked that right now with the jack and everything played fine, what gives? Is it the h/u?

seems the HU isnt putting out those certain signals to the amp(s)
