Center channel speakers for the car

I haven't ever used one personally, but I have heard the DIN unit in a sound board. Clarity and range is pretty decent. Doesn't get very low, but then most 5.1 encoded streams (such as a DVD) use the center channel primarily for higher frequencies such as speech and positional sound effects.

I have a pair of CDT coaxils that I am not using. Could I use these as a center channel speaker? I can just run a mono AV to the amp and bridge it to the speakers, or would it be best to use just one speaker? Thanks for all the help.

IMO a center channel in a car isn't worth it. you aren't sitting in the middle, so that kind of defeats the purpose.
Agreed for the most part. However, if the entire system is imaged properly, the center channel has its place.
