cell phone dead zone

i have zero cell phone reception in my apartment. no calls able to be received or made and same thing with txt messages. i called cricket and they boosted the signal and it still didnt work. any ideas????????

i looked at a few apps and i need something that i could use to call cell phones AND landlines/1-800 numbers. if i do get one of the apps how does it work when someone calls me, especially from a landline? do they dial my number, it goes through the software on my laptop and then the call comes to me on my cell phone?? im very confused by all this. thanks for your help in advance........

I've got Verizon and no other provider has as good of service around here. It's also the only service that has coverage at our land in Iowa

my inlaws house is a dead zone, phones literally die faster because they're searching for signal the whole time there. it blows. they have sprint, i have verizon. only people with service there are metro pcs phones. they got some booster box thingy from sprint that connects to their modem but barely did anything.

That's the way work is for me. I have one bar of service and phones die really quick because they're constantly searching

update...... found out that sprint/boost/virgin gets signals in my apt but im leaving here (california) to go back to georgia in a month.........

it still matters. i cant get a sprint phone for 1 month and then take it back and get a complete refund of evrything....... i still need some ideas

What part of GA, I live in east AL on the GA border and Verizon has great service even in rural areas followed by sprint which isn't horrible but has some dead areas and AT&T I wouldn't bother with they are spotty at best.
