CDT's are absolutely killing my ears with harshness on some songs!!! Help!!!

Is one of your speakers out of phase?

Test by flipping the + and - on one of them to see if it gets better or worse.

If they are just harsh why don't you just attenuate the 1k region slightly. Perhaps your crossovers come with an tweet attenuation switch, I dont' know much about CDT though? Your headunit isn't causing this problem, it's the speakers.
