cdt?

anyone have suggestions? i need 150 rms in 5.25" for under 250
Are you certain that you can't manage a set of 6.5's? Sometimes you can with some mods. If so you will get better midbass. Quite frankly, the knock on CDT's is usually a lack of midbass so I think I would be concerned about going that route with the 5.25's. Have you considered Boston Pro's? You nay be able to get some for about that. You would need to plan on giving them some juice though.

Oh, I should say that the knock on the CDT's about midbass seems to be more focused on CL's and EF's. I have the EF's, and I would have to agree that the midbass is not that great. I do, however, like the midrange.

yea i mean i could do 6.5'

my car is a 91 integra

the interior is already ****ed so i have no problem with cuttin shit up. i just want some good components. but i really have no where to go to listen to them. so i have to reliy on ppl's opinions. and im honestly havin a hard time finding a set that runs at 150 rms.

Someone on here is selling some Hypnotic 5.25s for $75, i saw it in another thread, i think he used for 7mins and he said they were very very good and got em cheap and is selling him to keep his car running

How bout considering some Focals, Rainbows, MB Quarts??
