CDT Subwoofers

How good are the CDT subs? I was thinking of getting these:

They are the CL series subs. Has anyone ever heard these? I know their component sets get great reviews but haven't heard much about their subs. I was thinking of getting a few 10's or 12's. I am wanting decent spl but mostly sq. Let me know if these would be good for that. Would they be good in a ported box tuned to about 32 hz?

I know someone has to have some experience with some cdt subs? I just need to know if they ahve good sq and hit decent. The xmax is 15mm, not bad for a 10". The sub prolly moves a decent amount of air. Let me know something guys....

this is based from '99ish maybe as late as 02 i had a local audio dealer(net) friend that bought a set of of braxials and a 10 in a semi small sealed box (no idea on real box size but it wasnt very big)the set up was really clean no punchy or boomy. i would say its more down the lines of an image dynamics idq or an older oz sub. anyway you shape it id definately call them sq subs. the reviewer states he had a l712 in a reg cab s10 which would be a real struggle to get in much less sound good most people put 10" or 8" solos in those with a GOOD sized box.

Thanks for the response. Do you think they are worth the buy? I just dont see anyone running their subs, so I thought I would try something a little different. They seem to be a good price. Thanks for the input though.

well i havent heard the cl line of subs i did hear the HD line and take on them was pretty darn good. great output with great sq.

I bet they are excellent compared to many others in that range

I wunder how they compare to ID or a CM3
