Anyone have any experience with these or the ES02? Trying to get a idea about how the sound. I love the size and the frequency range. Seems like it would help with the midrange in a two way setup

The ES 02 is weak in output and doesnt sound all that amazing for how much it actually costs. Scanspeak discovery beats it by a mile. Dont let the dealers sway you delusions of CDT grandeur, there's much better stuff out there for the money.

The Es 02 in my eyes is more of a larger tweeter I had some they were ok. The hd62 mids are pretty decent good mid bass from them

****. That's disappointing. They look awesome. And on paper look good too. Almost got a pair last year but couldn't bring myself to spend that much.

The size is really what I like because it would fit in my sails on my accord.

It's just about the install as much as the equipment. I've sold quite a few sets of them. With no issues or complaints

I just kept the stock locations. I can't really think of any better places for that car. I recently sealed 80% of my doors. Has made a big difference.

I recently got a JBL MS-8 and that has helped the imaging but I lost some of the overall impact and loudness.. Hard to explain but it def changed it.

you'll have to recalibrate it while playing with your amp gains.

It will. The way I would have them installed they would. But I have been talked out of them. Going to be going a different direction.

On paper these things are impressive but everyone that have used so otherwise.

Don't be discouraged by some of the people that have had bad experiences or believe that CDT products are trash. Their products may not be of top quality like Hybrid Audio but they can still perform very exceptional.

I have the ES-02 in the sail panels of my Kia Sorento firing On-Axis. I am giving them a very clean 150wrms from a Zapco amp. I have them running active and xover @450 - 20K@12dB from my RF 360.3 DSP. Everyone that I have had in my vehicle for Demos has had nothing but good comments about how they perform.

Something people need to realize is that the ES-02 and the HD-2 are not TWEETERS, they are actually a wideband. These speakers placed and configured properly can run over a 7-octave spectrum and sound awesome.

One thing that nobody asked was, what vehicle is it going in and where/how you plan to place?
