cdt es-06 mids? Anyone with experience?

Just need to know if anyone run/ran these mids and if so,whats your thoughts on them? I can get a set for around $150.00 and need to kow if they will be worth it? Will be running them passive. Also, if they are considered to be overpriced,what mids from partsexpress/madisound would be on that level or better?Looking for really strong midbass and nice vocals

i used the cdt es gold in 6.5 & 5.25

are you looking to buy new or used for that $150

and is this just the mid only , or the drt 26 tweets and 560 crossovers?

they are used and just mids only. If i did get them, plan on running the 550 xovers with them

i sold my mids only, 5.25" used mint for $100 shipped for the pair

i sold my mids only, 6.5" used mint for $100 shipped for the pair

i just replaced 6.5" cdt with DDW6.5" , and i prefer the DD

i just replaced the 5.25" cdt with the DD-A and i prefer the DD

but the cdt mids were good and i did like them

what do you have for mids now ?

got a set of Crescedos at the moment. The tweets in the set are very nice ad the mids arent bad for the price. They lack midbass compared to me hd-62s but the more i tweek them the better they sound. They just tend to break up at high volume if crossed over too low. They do get nice and loud though. Louder than the hd62's but not as clean. Just need a set that ill stick with for a while. This is geetn irritating tryn to find what im look for which is strong midbass(my doors are deadened already) and loud,clean vocals. The Crescendos i would keepbut the midbass that im after isnt there.
