CDE-9881....what speakers?

i have been searching for awhile now and it seems what i thought was correct is incorrect. so i am asking for help because i hit a brick wall in my searches.

on the car forum i am on some goobers keep telling me "if you find efficient speakers you dont even need an amp" i HIGHLY doubt this advice but what do i know, i know how to make it go fast, sound good is new to me.

currently i have;

-profile AP700M

-JBL GTO 12inch sub in 1cf sealed box.

-alpine CDE-9881

is it possible to find speakers that will run off the heads power and sound good? or is the only way to have good sound on a budget to get a 2 way amp and power a set of PG RSd6.5cs for the front?
