Got a little problem here and don't know what the actual culprit is.
Just put the CDA-9831 in 3 weeks ago and have had the problem 3 times since then, once a week it seems.
When I turn the car on the stereo comes on and displays the track counter as if the unit is playing the song but no sound comes out. The only way I have been able to get music to come back on is doing a full reset by hitting the button on the faceplate. The problem effects both CD and radio.
I really don't like doing the reset however because then I need to redo all my time correction and EQ settings not to mention all the radio presets.
I have toggled the internal amp on and off but this has no effect. I am running the HU straight to my amp via RCA's then from the amp to the speakers. However it did this prior to the amp going in so I am pretty sure it's not the amp.
Anybody seen this problem before and/or have a solution for me?
Thanks in advance.
