cd player spitting out cd's

chick i know has a factory bose system in a nissan maxima. she said everytime she puts a cd in, it spits it out right away, and the same thing happens on the cassette player. any one can help please do so...

how old is the maxima? I'd say you got a busted HU on your hands. Is it a double DIN?

its a 94 maxima with a built in cd changer and a cassette player built in. more like a tripple din

well then, if I were her, I'd say **** the HU, buy a double din HU, and then have another little port to put something else like an EQ.

is the cd burned? if it is try a regular cd and try that out that could be the problem

It's weird how it does it with both cassettes and CDs. I would disconnect the battery for 5 or so minutes and let everything in the car reset, then see what happens.
