CD player issues

Hey all, I am having an issue with my wifes deck. She has a Pioneer deh-p850mp that all of a sudden wont power up. The deck has a face plate that slides down when the unit is on. The face plate slides down when the car is on, but nothing else happens. I checked all the fuses and all of the connections and everything looks good. Is this thing fried or what?
