CD player installation help..

Okay so before I give up figured I would seek help..

So after a few days of searching and hunting I finally found a constant and accy wire for the cd player. I stuck the console in and ran the wires around, when I hook up the ground, accy, and constant the CD player does not turn on.. Tried on 2 CD players.. So what am I missing?

what vehicle? do you need the proper adapter for GM or Chrysler to translate the CAN Bus to a switched accy?

did you verify with a DMM that the wires have voltage? did you take the ground to chassis?

Make sure you have a good ground. use a dmm and make sure you have voltage on the lines. do this without and with the deck plugged in and see what you get.

I got it, thanks, apparently my ground pulled outta the crimp and electrical tape inside the console.
