CD Changer question

Ok. A question of ignorance... If I have a headunit that plays mp3's, wma's, etc. (say Pioneer 880 PRS), and I hook a compatible CD changer to it, will I be able to play those same formats from the changer discs, or just cda?

It depends on the changer. The changer has to be able to read those formats to be able to play them.
