The price between these two head units is pretty significant. If I just use the cdplayer, do I really need to buy the higher end model? (I don't care about hd radio, remote, etc). I am looking at the specs as the manuals are online on
crutchfield and the only differences I see is,
Maximum output power
45 Watts vs 50 Watts
Preout level:
2000 vs 4000
And Preout Impedance
80 vs 600
I am planning on hooking up a Audiobahn ATB8AT 8" 100 watt powered subwoofer using the preouts, will it make any difference between the two head units? And what about the extra 5 Watts of Max power? I don't have any amps for the speakers either.
Also, do all new headunits have the same plugs in the back? I bought a harness for the mp202 and if I exchange it I want to plug it into the existing harness.
