Get the Pioneer KURO PDP-5080HD as it is being rated as one of the best displays a lot of reviewers have seen. You can catch them right at $2000 if you search hard enough.

Read this review of the 1080p version where they tell you to get the 5080 for the price.

These pioneers continue to gain accolades from all of the different magazines. Just an option.

i think i decided tho i wanted to stay away from plasma

any beyond that im usually extremely close to the TV...like for instance right now im about 3 feet from my 42"...that says if your within 6 feet you may start seeing pixels

if you are sitting that close then why do you want to get a bigger display because the larger you go the more pixels you will see sitting that close. Not to mention that is terrible for your eyes.

well im usually 4-5 feet while browsing....8-10 when im watching TV and movies...im just trying to decide weather to ditch using the TV as a monitor....then maybe i should get a bigger one...if not just stick with the 42

i just got my vizio 42" on friday. tis my first hdtv screen and it's amazing. i love it. funny thing is watching adult swim at 2am luminates my entire bedroom.

good choice...same one i have...cant complain i just went to a buddies apartment and they had a 50" sammy and now im jealous
