whys the site say they are ment for SPL

The Omega is not a pure spl sub. If it's not something I would want to listen to day in and day out in my car, it won't make production. I don't compete so that should tell you something...

Thank you for informing me of my OEM company. They are not producing these drivers anymore. I wrote what's on the site, so yes I am aware of that too.

Again, these are as much as spl driver in the fact that they get loud, but I dont recommend tuning to 55hz or using them for burps. It took some convincing to even get me to back the team. These are daily driver, bottom line.

sounds good either way, i've always liked paps stuff, something to look at for other people looking direct anyhow.

I just put 2 18"s in my explorer. 11 cubes at 33hz. 4000rms. Its ridiculous. I rolled down my window 3 inches, tossed a crumpled up receipt up and it vibrates in the gap for 30 seconds. fun stuff

No no. Pap is no longer assembling them. That was never part of the long term arrangement. I have no desire to let other people build my subs, regardless of the awesome job they're doing. Business with them will continue, but not in building my subs.

why are you coming off as pissed when im pretty much just trying to get clarification. You build them John Pierce builds them i didnt care either way they are the same sub either way imo. just was looking for clarification on that printed information.

Hell im afraid to ask for T/S specs now as youll prob get mad at that as well.

I'm not pissed. I just don't understand how you can argue the intended design of this sub...when I'm the one who knows what it needed to be...

Here goes, for everyone, not just you, this is a daily sub not a pure spl sub.
