Carpeting for my new box.

Where can I get a good quality sub woofer box carpeting for not to much money? How do I apply the carpeting to make it look right?

and when i carpet i start in the back and wrap it around the front, then tuck the corners down so they are at 45* angles, then trim the excess. depending on how big the box is you may need 2 rolls of carpet. just use any extra to fill in the sides. also, use the 3m spray adhesive for best results

i usually get the carpet at the hardware store wen i get the wood... instead of that 3m spray you can get some headliner adhesive from autozone its only $6 bux

I am also wantin to know where I can get carpet? I usually get it at walmart but they have been sold out for a while now. Also I think $10+tax is kinda expensive for the amount of carpet you get.

^X2. Thats how I did my last box, came out lookin pretty good...I used the spray on stuff too, but it was messy. You *MIGHT* have better results with a paint on type adhesive....

Pep Boys sells a 6'x9' roll of automotive carpet. $25 IIRC. The walmart carpet isn't big enough. I think its 4'x5'. Make sure it doesn't have a thick backing. 3M 77 or 90 @ Home Depot.

the 3m adhesive is like $20 a can at ace hardware around me, its crazy. my work orders it though so free for me

Wal-mart carpet is atrocious. It has a very thick backing, which makes it very difficult to wrap well. Get parts express or other quality carpeting.
