Carpet on enclosure question help

ok so i just build a new box for my new sub and it`s about 33 degree`s here and me and my building partner want to carpet it using spray on glue through a spray gun but the carpet is not sticking well what would you reccomend to do to fix this?

I use the 3m adhesive in an aresol can. Never had any problems but this is carpeting inside the house.

You have to let the glue sit until it tacks (dries a little and gets very sticky). Different glues have different tack times. Just check it with your fingers and when it gets really stick then put the carpet down. Spray both the carpet and the box but don't use too too much glue, it'll get saturated.

thanks man i`ll post some pics of the box when its done it`s housing a 07 15" L7 with a kicker powered by a zx1500.1 it 5.2 cubes

Yeah, it's awesome. Learned to carpet with it. Kind of saturated the carpet on the sides of my first box. Was careful and used a little the less on the second and it came out PERFECT.
