Care to help with a selection of Comps?

Hey. I'm a Highschool (about to become College student).

So, as you can imagine, I get paid sh%t. That being said, my price range is minimal.

However, I love car audio; so all of my spare time / money is spent in my car (which isn't a good idea since it's a POS Ford)

But, I listen to a lot of Reggae, Hip Hop, Techno, Rock; and I'm all about SQ, but the comp set I have now just isn't delivering the loudness I'm looking for-- not with out distorting out.

As of now I have a JBL GTO75.4 II [104x4 @ 4-ohm] amp, but I'm going to upgrade later once I get more money.

Right now I have CDT CL-E51's or something like that. Basically the lowest line of speakers CDT offers. (I was strapped on cash)

EDIT:: BTW-- It's a Ford Mustang but I've made it into 6.5"s

jbl should be in your price range i seen them for 80 or less on ebay

i love focal but very expensive

id say the jbl

PG RSDs are supposed to be good for a cheapie or so im told anyway

you can not go wrong with focal.

those sound great the mids hit precise and the highs are impeccable

I paid $185 for my CL-E51's... and those are pretty bo-bo.

I just wanna make sure these are good speakers before I buy them. You know? waste evne more money.
