I'm selling this driver BNIB! I love this driver but I'm being pulled into a different direction than I had planned at the time. 1k plus actual shipping.

Dual .5 coils with long coil option. the cone is still the famous composite but was made even stiffer and lighter by having the top layer made from CF. the cone is resin covered just like the dust caps from DD are. the Dust cap is 8" by the way.

i think you can get these from DD for $950 club DD???

I'm not aware of this, but even if so it would not include this cone coil or cap all of wich cost a good amount extra. this one also has no tax and most importantly is available right now. no 3 week plus wait!!

With the composite cone not the carbon cone. There is no option for the carbon cone I had to ask if this could even be done. and it did cost extra. so I know it is not on any option list. unless it has been added since my woofer. and is that cap the 6" or the 8"

I'm not trying to start any kind of argument, I am trying to clarify to anyone watchingthis thread that this is not an inexpensive driver and optioned in this way costs significantly, it's not just nickels and dimes. The composite cone is over a 300.00 option all by itself. This woofer can be duplicated but it would cost a pretty penny and being custom would have to wait in line to get it duplicated. What I love about DD is that you can have a custom 1 off type of driver and still have it reconed or duplicated if need be. With some prototype or esoteric drivers if anything bad should ever happen you are either forced to go to someone else for a recone or you may even be completely out of luck. With DD you can have your cake and eat it too. You can have a woofer not everyone else has, and have it repaired or replaced by the same people who built it.

this guys the reason i was gonna get a blue carbon fiber cone and cap, then that shit went down about recones, i almost sold all my dd...... now its all good, but i lost interest in the cone i got other stufff to work on......
