Here's the breakdown.
I've worked my whole life; I've also continued to educate myself.

My very presence in this forum lends credit to that, as it's only yet another facet of the latter;

If a greater portion of society would do more of one, or especially both of those things, [and might I add, "not be lazy"] not only would they keep their jobs - they would be creating more jobs, and mathmatically the progression of a wealthful civilization would indeed be 'progressive.'

While I resist subscription to overgeneralization and blanket conclusions, I feel that I can safely say this;

The majority of people don't succeed.

It's up to you to succeed.

i just feel you don't have a right to complain considering you are getting paid to visit the forums. it isn't true that hard work will keep your job. i'm at the verge of loosing my job, not because i don't work hard, but because some mexican will manufacture parts cheaper then i can. also not everyone can afford college. i can because my work pays for it and i go to college. i work 2 jobs. i've been put on short work week for forever and will probably loose the whole department to the mexican plant so i also find myself as a part-time manager of a burger king and go to college part time. i just thing it's kinda hard for you to say these things and be pissed if people are talking about how to take a shit on a public forum when you are getting paid to look at it. ok i'm done now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

it'll happen eventually. that's why i took the managers job at burger king so i would atleast have something. they wanted to eliminate my job completely but the union fought them and we ended up on short work week for the rest of the year. i went from 40 hours a week to 20 hours a week but kept all my beneifits. i heard our contract is up in 2006 and that's probably when they will close the plant. i live in a town of only 1000 people and this plant employs 400 so that'll be devastating for the community. we used to employ 600 but they laid-off 200 and i had enough seniority to bump some people. well enough about me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i guess i'm jealous and want a job where i can surf the net and get paid.

it used to be, but not now. michigan is pretty much a union state. the UAW is the biggest union i do believe. when it effects the union heads jobs, they'll fight for ya. i was working on a machine and a chunk of metal flew off the machine cut my shoulder and i had to get stitches. my arm was so sore i couldn't move it and had to go out on medical but my foremen said i cut my arm while i wasn't on the job and couldn't get medical. the union did nothing. said they would call me and never did. they threatened to call the police on me because i should up at their office while i was off work. what eneded up happening was i had to take my personal days and after 6 months the union finally decided to help me and after 8 months i got my personal days back.

GM closed the lansing plant. plus ford and GM sold out to visteon and delphi. how many ford and gm plants are in michigan anymore? it's getting ridiculous. i actually work for an outsourcing plant. the outsourcing plant, is outsourcing their work.

Something is wrong with you if you think that would help, of all the reasons people are post *****s, raising your post count is not one of them.

its been my general observation that the reason many people do post wh0re is for the post count.....otherwise they wouldnt post how many posts they have and so forth in random threeds.....but i could be wrong......and i honestly dont apprecaite the insult my friend.....
