Message: <blockquote data-quote="iceteebone" data-source="post: 791011" data-attributes="member: 549344"><p>it used to be, but not now.  michigan is pretty much a union state.  the UAW is the biggest union i do believe.  when it effects the union heads jobs, they'll fight for ya.  i was working on a machine and a chunk of metal flew off the machine cut my shoulder and i had to get stitches.  my arm was so sore i couldn't move it and had to go out on medical but my foremen said i cut my arm while i wasn't on the job and couldn't get medical.  the union did nothing.  said they would call me and never did.  they threatened to call the police on me because i should up at their office while i was off work.  what eneded up happening was i had to take my personal days and after 6 months the union finally decided to help me and after 8 months i got my personal days back.</p></blockquote><p></p>
