That's not true.. look at SSA Icon's, they stay sold out, and their forum is nowhere near the beast ours is...

They are sold out because it is very expensive to support an inventory. They will be back in shortly. Keep in mind, the mass majority of Icon's were not bought by SSA members. Many people that own them have since joined SSA to post their build log and results.

We do have a CA.com subwoofer.

Who gives a fvck what the Admin thinks...do we need his permission to use CA.com I assume? That's about it.

Funding could come from the memebers and I can see it happening if a small group of member investors funded it, take a consensus about the characteristics, poll it, and then find out the who, what, where, when aspects.

I'm not looking at this from a true venture perspective, I just think it might be neat to do. I wouldn't bet on it REALLY competing with other top of the line stuff.

I think people don't quite understand all that goes into getting a sub woofer up and going.

 

I would love to see how everyone that contributes money is satisfied with the specs, design, cost, size, time to production, development, testing and scope of the driver. Not to mention, where the inventory going to be stored, shipping drivers to customers or sponsors, and so on.

I know this wouldn't be easy denim. You guys know more from that respect than we do. I don't think with something like this R&D would come into play. This would almost be like a toy you would buy in the impulse section while waiting in line at the grocery store.

Maybe....it could be a build your own sub type of thing. It comes as kit; the customer assembles it and everyone gets educated on recones...?
