How about Chicago? Its close to canada, close to NY, not hella far from NC, and not far from MN. And i will prolly be there next spring for my cuzngs wedding so having my peeps from caraudio.comk do tha motor escort for this would be funny as hell. Anyways this is my suggestion and i am in Western NY.so lets hear from ya all.

Oh screw it all Niagra falls, we can be either canadian or American side. clsoe enough for cheap american gas and clsoe for cheap strippers, and other stuff. How about that huh?? Not to mention bass bu a river is a beautifal thing.

I for one am down with getting together. Chi-Town would be good, but I'm not that far away from sme of the others locations mentioned either.

Where is this poll thread........or does this count???

If it is decided that we do it and it is held somewhere in between Chicago and Madison I could try and book the venu, seeing I have a lot of contacts and and expierence in doing so.

The poll thread is under the general discussion area just like this one. It may or may not be further down due to lesser replies, but I am trying to use that one more so to determine numbers of those interested in rolling out to something like this. It just makes it easier since a member can not vote twice yet can reply 50times....that way I do not have to try to add up the numbers the system does it for me. ALl of these locations are sound very kewl Chi-town sounds like a real winner as well because it is central to about everyone. Keep the ideas flowing tho everyone and we can make this work out the best for the majority.

ONCE AGAIN!!!!!! THIS IS NOT SET IN STONE THIS IS ONLY A GENERAL IDEA. TRYING TO FIND WHERE EVERYONE IS FROM AND AT A LATER DATE AND TIME DECIDE ON A SET LOCATION. This event will not occur until spring or summer of next year so there is LOTS of time to save a lil extra cash for gas, hotel, camp ground, whever we decide to hold it.

Not a problem at all. Have you posted on the poll yet? In fact has EVERYONE here posted on the poll yet? It is titled the same exact as this one with the (poll included) label at the end of it. Check it out so we can start getting in some numbers more specifically.

sure its close to canada, but so is seatlle, you forget, canafa is a prett decent sized country...

like a fair bit bigger than yours...

for it to be truly central, n central united states would have to be teh place.. (anywhere there..

northern half, or even better, third and in the central, taht way, albertans, british columbians, saskatchewinians (not taht you would want to meet those epopel anyways) and mantitobans, not jsut those from ontario (which is all many americans think we ahv anyways, (toronot hasn't expanded THAT far yet) can show up...

I have voted on the poll and and agree with the statement with it needs to be somewhere central. I think if it was a colaboration with something like termpro.com or some of the other e-zines and forums like soundillusions.net and such that it would be a huge turn out and one enough so that it would actualy be worth going to besides 'let's meet the people on caraudio.com' kinda thing. Though don't get the shit mixed up, it's still a bad *** idea but why not go bigger?

Not a bad idea I kinda need to get semi established at each of those first tho. Or at leat it would seem a bit more prudent to do so. Will definately be looking into all ideas here before moving on to the next stage of setting location and date.

If we were to get a bigger group, we could possibly set up our own venue/show later down the cherry trail. I dunno, just a bigger group would make a bigger group turn out and a better show as well. BTW, would this be just a get together for a couple days and have lunch thing or is it like whatever? I'd love to have an amatuer install competition or something along those lines, that'd be hella fun.
