I just got a new headunit, sub, and amp, and had it proffesionally installed. Now, however, there is a blue wire hanging out right above my break and gas petal. I'm thinking this is the blue amp wire...Should i waste my time and hear the installer's BS, or try to fix it myself?

Need more details, is this wire connected to anything?? What are you running in your car (equipment)?? What type of car is this (year make and model)??

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

If the original plugs have been cut off, you may want to get some from a wrecked car. You could also search online for a radio pin-out for said model.
