Well for my pos. I wash it, then if it needs it clay bar, then wash again, then wax, and wax again. Using microfiber towels.

you use lube and basically drag it lightly across your car, gets rail dust, brake dust, road grime, wash your car 5 times then run a clay bar on it, you will see what comes off, a TRUE detailer would not touch your car without a clay bar the first time he does it

3M makes a nice little microfibe cloth for washing and detailing. it's lintless too. sells for like 8 bucks. yellow in color. awesome little rag, i use it on my freshly painted prelude everytime without any problems..
