Car stereo without well.... the stereo....

Hi All,

Hope you can help me out, best way to describe what I'm looking for is a car stereo without the stereo per-say.

I have an antique car and currently have a "modern" AM/FM/CD stereo in my glove compartment, that really doesn't work for me, it's too large.

What I'm looking for is some type of compact unit with power in, output to my speakers, AUX port for an iPod and bluetooth connectivity for my phone.

I Don't need AM/FM/CD, does such a thing exist???

If you have an amp, you can connect the iPod directly to the amp with coax to RCA adapter. Can you post a picture so we can see what you mean by too big?

azmcrae, This looks perfect! It would fit in the glove compartment perfectly, All I would need to do solder RCA males on my R & L speakers ends and power it up.

I used to plug my ipod straight into an amp's RCA's with a 3.5mm (1/8") to dual RCA cable and didn't have any head unit at all. It sounded great for many years. Lots of head units out there that skip the CD player, meant just for USB and Bluetooth or SD cards, but I don't know of any that skip the FM/AM radio part.

this is my current set up i have a aventree bluetooth reciver(30.00) that goes into a pac remote knob so i can turn it up and down then that goes into my powerbass line driver and that goes into my eq and eq out to the amps it sounds great no wires and i dont have to pull a cd player in and out the car
