Hi guys,
I recently had my 2015 S8 lemon lawed. The new car Audi replacing it with is a 2015 RS7. My other car had a Bang and Olufsen system, that was ok, but good enough to not install an after market system. Due to the difference in the car price due to the missing B&O system they are cutting me a check for $4,800. That is my budget, installed +$1,000 (a total of $5,800). I will also be installing a Escort 9500ci, so I may get a slight discount on the install since they already have a portion of the car apart (the 9500ci is a separate budget).
When I was a teenager I had a Alpine Type-R system with PDX amps and a clean sweep in a Infiniti FX50-S. It was good, but not exceptional. This will be a fully concealed install, meaning the original headunit will remain (the headunit in a RS7 controls much more than just the car audio). With that kind of budget, what do you think is the best I can get?
Thanks,
-Dave
