Car painted??

A lot of things play a role in this

1) what color you want

2) body work and prep work needed other than basic sanding and stuff

3) whether your worried about jams being painted

4) whether you go to a shop, a place like macco or some dude in a garage

5) Where your at

well around 2 grand should do it or could be even more?? i wont need much prep only sanding because i already have new fenders on the way and those r only thing that is dented so. i was also just thinking about sanding down and priming myself.

HOLY **** 10GS!!

priming it and sanding it yourself might save you a little bit of cash but it could damage the quality of your job because the primer is going to get "dirty" and would need to be sanded again. Depending on how the shops are and stuff in your area you might be able to get it done for $2G's. You know most shops give free estimates right.

yea but i still have to have my body kit put on was jst looking for a ball park..if i just sand and keep in garage dont prime will t still rust or only if i leave it outside?

shouldnt rust cuz you shouldnt be sanding to bare metal, your really only sanding the clear and top layers of paint of, if you sand all the paint off period youll need to get sealer and primer, With paint left you can just go primer because the old low layers of paint will act as a primer as well.
