Car amp in home hook-up question?

i have a question how i would be able to hook up a car amp (sub amp) in my house for 110V. if i get a car battery and a car battery charger hook those together and then hook my amp up to that will that work? or any other suggestions?

I actually just asked this recently.

You can use a battery or you can get a powersupply from a pc. I did the pc route.

Yes, that would be your 12v. Just remember that it is 12v (not 14.4 like manufacturers sometimes specify). Also, my 350watt works well on a HU, but an amp has a tad bit more power draw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

you can just buy a good power supply for like 100-150 bucks. like a 40-50 amp one. they have a positive and negitive and thats it. just on and off.
