car alarm help

can anyone tell me where i can get some info on how to hook up a car alarm?

i bought a viper 100 from an electronics liquidator and want to install it in my ford escort. need help with the wiring, etc.

WIRE COLORS LOCATION

12 VOLTS CONTANT BLK& BLK IGNITION HARNESS

IGNITION 1 DK BLUE IGNITION HARNESS

ACCESSORY/HEATER BLOWER 1 BLK/RED IGNITION HARNESS

STARTER BLK/DK BLU IGNITION HARNESS

PARKING LIGHTS RED/BLK(+) BEHIND DRIVERS DASH

DOMELIGHT RED/WHITE AT PIN SW

TACH SENSOR YELLOW/DK BLUE AT COIL

BRAKE DK GRN SWITCH ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL

HORN DK GRN/ORANGE(-) STEERING COL HARNESS

If it is aftermarket you are better off asking the manufacture of it on how to change settings. Or take it to a local car alarm place and ask them...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
