Capacitors???

For the $150-$300 you'll be spending on a cap(s) ... I think I would much rather get my alternetor re-wound, or get a brand new one for around ~$300-$400 depending on your application.

If you're running it at 2ohm, you're going to be pulling a LOT of current ... even at 4ohm, you're still pulling a fair amount.
