Capacitors "n" Ported Boxes...

Plz dont hate on me too much lol, cuz im ok at car audio but still got alot to learn...and am very audio curious you know?

#1 CAPACITORS...SAY U RUN UR CAR OFF A Brand NEW REG. stock BATTERY NO CAPACITOR...

how much will a capacitor affect my bass? will it make my system THAT MUCH louder?

#2 say i buy a box for my solobaric 15" x2...and its under the recommended 3cb. ft range....more like 2.5 cb. what will happen to my bass? what exactly affects me here...

Ive seen a number of ported boxes...some are tuned at certain fequencies...

1. whats the diff if i buy a box thats tuned at a hz lvl...or one thats not?....

2. i plan to buy a costom ported box...what hz lvl should i have it tuned at?

x2 S15L7'S "kickerz"

x4 200 watt rms tweetz..

x1 mono block d class...hyfonics amp (2000 watts rms)...

x1 caddilac fleetwood brougham

im from and live in detroit michigan, so car audio is a popular thing around here, best system ive seen so far was prolly like 2 CVR round kickers...on a poopy amp

Not sure if this affects what it should be tuned at so there ya go...

#1 you dont need a cap, it wont make it louder, do the big three

#2 depends on how you want it to hit, i like 32 to 35 htz

#3 it sounds ok to me

#4 somewhere in the audible range of sound

every port is tuned at something, it depends on how you want it to sound, a box builder will know more than i... i like even and lower bass response so my box is tuned at 32 htz. the link i posted was to show you that caps do nothing for your system.

ive been reading for a while now...still no luck...

SORTA why i came here...

kinda like as if u had a choice on the phone....audimated machine....or live operater...WHAT WOULD U CHOOSE................
