And I'll add that when you do get to that point, anything larger than .5F is pointless (because of the associated ESL & ESR of larger caps) becuase all you are doing it throwing a shiny cylinder filled with mud into the electrical path when you are using those rediculous 5 and 15F capacitors.a capacitor should only be used when you have an adequet electrical system. do a big 3 upgrade, proper size power wire, an HO alternator, and a new battery. a cap is suppose to help bass response. what it does is quick bursts of energy to your amp. this is helpful because some ho alts do not kick out the extra amps instantly. there is like a 1 second delay, and thats when a cap becomes useful. a cap should be the last thing you add to an electrical system
