Capacitor or Capcell?

I hope your trollin.
Shy away from PA.

that amp is only rated at 1200W and it prolly wont do rated.

The subs wont handle rated power either most likely.

•1 x 2200W RMS (15Hz to 150Hz) @ 1Ohm 0.5% THD

2200 rms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and it is branded for branded he will be fine for a cheapo system.

but I agree that PA isnt very good. they make decent stuff but these items are not it IMO.

Reading>Me lol but you would have to run at 2 ohms with the 2 d2's

Hey thanks for the advice,

Would you be able to help me with what to get? All i know now is to get a mono amp instead of the one i was planning. I wanted to stick to all power acoustik just to match and make it look good a little too.

Im a real beginner so would you be able to tell me wha the real difference is between the 2ohm and 4ohm subs are? I was just looking at the max power.

Thanks,

i sent you a pm as well make sure you get dual 4 ohm subs and use the 2nd amp you listed the capcell is a huge waste of $$ for a few dollars more they sell the hc600 battery.

any other suggestions if PA isnt that great??? I am starting it from scratch anyway. Kind of want a matching system with everything. Just want something poweful without going broke lol.

Otherwise i got suggestions from the convo so far:

Power Acoustik Bamf4000/1d Bamf Series ......or more powerful?? i think 5500 next one up

1 x 1200W RMS (15Hz to 150Hz) @ 4Ohm 0.5% THD

1 x 1700W RMS (15Hz to 150Hz) @ 2Ohm 0.5% THD

1 x 2200W RMS (15Hz to 150Hz) @ 1Ohm 0.5% THD

Power Acoustik P3-12W2600W Max, 12" Dual 2 ohms P3 Series Subwoofer

Power Handling:

Peak: 2600 watts

RMS: 1300 watts

and the big 3 upgrade

totally a beginner so what would i need to do rated as you said? get the most out of the subs

Power Acoustik P2-12W1400W Max, 12" Dual 4 ohms P2 Series Subwoofer

12" Dual 4 ohms P2 Series Subwoofer

Power Handling:

Peak: 1400 watts

RMS: 700 watts

those would be better just cuz the 4 ohms?

i

no, the first sub is better than that and if you wire the sub in series, then normally to the amp, the amp will see 4 ohms and run the sub at rated power 1200rms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif send me prices and I will try to figure a better setup. PA has a pretty bad name but not on all of their stuff. what is it costing you for all of this so we know what to recommend in the same price range.

are you using 1 sub or 2? alot of here are dealers ( //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif me ) and can make you a great deal on much better stuff.

i
no you could wire the first subs together and get a 2ohm load which would give you plenty for those subs.

you also need 1 of these ampkits from knukonceptz :

or 1 of these for a little less :

This seem like a good system setup to get more power out of the subs? I am not sure about the whole mono amp - dual channel sub thing works. Will it work together fine?
