i have a tsunami 2 fared cap hooked up right now.

i'm upgrading and need a little larger output.

i found a stinger hybrid cap at a local pawn shop, but it has no model number or fared reading - for 65$, tested and works.

i have been looking long and far for information on it and i found a picture. does anyone have any information or know how much fareds it is or maybe a model number? it seems to be a older model since i cannot find it anywhere.

think its a good investment either way?

thanks so much for any help!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

thanks for the info im just looking ahead because i will be running abour 2000rms/4000max got a yellow top in trunk, interstate in front. after big 3, think i should need a larger than 2 fared cap?

ill say im running a hifonics 2008D at 1 ohm with big three and stock battery up front and stock 100 amp alt and do not drop past 13.5 ish at full tilt. just ditch the cap search up on it and see why there no good. save you money.

so i should be good pushin 2000rms/4000max with stock alt, yellow top in back, big 3, 0/1 gauge everywhere and 2 fared tsunami cap then?

what kind of car do you have? and do you know your alternator rating? the best thing to do would be to try and run the amp you have and see how your car reacts. if your getting big voltages drops go from there. we can not tell you that you will be good for sure. but like i said before ditch the cap!

cap is actually helping out dimming while giving me a digital readout for the trunk. i have a town car with stock 130A alternator

No one said it wouldn't-- but it puts a bigger strain on your electronic system. If you do The Big 3 you'll have zero dimming issue and your electrical system will run a lot smoother and you won't ever have to use that cap.
