okay i feel like crap cause im staying home form college this semester and going to a community college here. so im using my truck as a daily drvier. i just wanna know what you think about this. i have many projects going on at once in my truck. sound deading, amp hiding, fix some general stuff up, putting in an eq, and in the process of trying to find a job so i can get my new sub, box, amp, and head unit. so my truck is a mess right now. is it newb to leave stuff unfinished? i dunno. but im trying to get all this done by summer so i can go cruising. i have to- put all my audio in, retint the windows, fix my door thingy (the thing that presses down and tells the car the doors shut. ya mine broke this morning, shit), new tires, detail job, bed liner, and new rims. is anybody esle in my position?? i feel like such a newb jimmy rigin stuff cause i dont have the time to do it the way i want to due to school, trying to find a job, working out, just shit basically. i dunno i needed to vent. thanks for listening lol

same here. I'm building kicks, but they don't sound right, so ive been driving around for 2.5 weeks with ghetto free air kicks. I can't decide if i should replace my HU or amp first... there are 4x4 parts that need some attention as well: rear locker, coilovers, more skidplates.

You are not alone. I'm slowly piecing it together.

edit: i forgot about my other hobbies plastic models, but i need to design scale unimog axles, rapid prototype them, resin cast them and sell a few to off set the cost ($250 + my design time)

i do one thing at a time. and don't start anything new till its finished. i don't see anything wrong with the way ur doing it. its probably easier in the long run, since some things require the same stuff to be removed and u don't have to put it back in to take it back out again.

what head unit do you have, or are you rollin stock?

as for rocky, just make it a chore to get at least a days worth of work done on your truck during the week. like wed nights or something, just as long as you schedule it and stick to it. you'll get her done, jsut takes commitment and patience.

eclipse 3434. I was too afraid for my first to be a top of the line 8 series, but now i regret not spending the $$$.

okay just took everything outta the inside of my cab except the dashboard. i mean its bare and ready for eDead. i may get a project finished lol. but after i deadin it this goes along with it-running wires, speakers all installed, amps mounted (for now). everything that needs to be hidin will be. so at least it will be sounding and finally looking good on the inside thank god for the three day weekend.

okay well i finished alot of things today- edeaded everywhere, ran and hid all my new wire, and mocked up where my amps and crossovers could be mounted. so im getting there. just have to put all the interior back in and im pretty much done and ready to buy new stuff! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There you go. I am the kinda guy that takes things day by day. I find it more benifical in the end. Glad to hear things are coming along nicely. Peace!
