Can't make up my mind.

I have finally put together most of my stereo with some help from members of this forum. I have a Kenwood KDC-X589 head, a set of CDT ef-61 comps and a KICKER KX650.4 amp. I also have a ported 12" box that I got from a friend. My problem is I can't make up my mind about a sub, There are to many to choose from. I would like to spend arond $100 on one. It is going in a x-cab truck and I'm wanting it to hit pretty hard but I also want pretty good SQ. I plan on bridgeing the rear 2 ch. on the amp and am supposed to get 325 watts RMS 4-ohm stable in bridged mode. Any help ?

$100....Alpine Type-r

Alpine Type R's, or a Kicker Comp VR would be my choice for that budget and power level...

A used Adire Tempest would kick serious *** for that power, but good luck finding one used that someone's willing to give up for that price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif A used Adire Shiva would work also. Mine wangs quite well off of 250W in 1.5 ft^3 sealed.

Or, an eD 13Kv.2 would be an option, although new it's a little more than your budget.

Well I have been looking at the Kicker Comp VR's and they are in my price range on E-Bay but I have never heard them, how do they compare to the others that have been listed?

dude i heard 2 kicker vr 12"s , THEY KNOCK!!! but then again im not sure how they compare to type r, but you WILL be heard with the kicker vr

I agree with the Alpine type r I think they are a great sub for the price and they do sound good.
