Cant find a bigger alt for my vehicle :(

^^ vehicle is a Isuzu I-280 4cylinder 2.8L. It has a stock alt of 100 amps and I'm looking to upgrade to bigger. Not necessarily a HO alt but just something more powerful. Everywhere I look it only offers a replacement for my stock 100amp alt. where do you guys find /buy your alts from and if any one knows of one that would fit my vehicle please let me know.

Why waste hundreds of dollars on an alt when you can take 2/3 .6amp diodes to boost its efficiency ????

It don't make since. Go to Radio shack get the diodes, solder, and some heat shrink tube. Sure does beat this **** outa spendin' a lot of cash on a bigger alt.

this may work with small setups. but there is a point where that small alt just isnt going to cut it.

No I have not. Dont really have the money or the need for that matter for a big HO alt.

Your kidding me right? But you are false. I have seen this done on bigger setups on SMD forum. I wouldn't bring this in on this thread if it hasn't been proven that it works. I have it on my set up bud. 96 Dodge 1500 ext cab 4 SKAR Audio VVX-15s two AQ-2200D strapped. How the hell you gonna tell me it don't work? Please humor me been there done it!

No upgrades as of yet. My system isn't even in my truck yet. I'm looking around to see what I do need to upgrade before it all goes in. Of course I will do the big 3, and I will have a kinetic Hc600 in the cab of my truck, and will upgrade my under the hood battery if needed
