But lots of 2/0 welding cable and do a few runs for power and ground. That should solve your problem.

Grounding to chassis is just fine.

I have over 3500rms with a chassis ground and only a stock 110amp alt with 2 batteries (shitty ones) and i dont see less than 12.2 @ idle on full tilt

Id say either your grounding to a bad spot or its not a good ground, or your alternator DOESNT MAKE F U C K all for power at idle (alot of aftermarkets ones dont)

My bet is alternator

Word, I am over 2k RMS total on all amps and I am seeing hardly any voltage drop and no big 3, redtop up front, powermaster 5100 in back and KNU 0/1g wiring........grounded to the chassis.
