Can't figure out what's wrong?!?!?!

I installed a IA 12", AQ1200, AVH-P4100, Kicker 1/0 kit, and a custom built box in my Buddys MK5. It's worked & sounded great for the last 5mths. Now out of nowhere if you turn it up pass 12 on volume the sub stops working. The amp does not go into protect (light stays green not red) and all the fuses are fine. If I turn it back down below 12 it comes back on. Any ideas????

Either headunit or amp is cutting the rca signal is my guess, can you swap either of them out for a known working?

How do you like the Mach5 mids?? Got pics of that install you can pm me? Id love to hear an honest review of them

check sub with a dmm. check ground on amp. did the gains or bb get turned way up?
