Cant figure out what's wrong..

No..it's wierd. Just doesnt get loud when both amps are hooked up. I tried to play with it all day and even switched the amps out for different ones and that wasnt it..

How do you wire the subs up when you hook them up to a single amp? Ohm load?

When both subs are wired to one amp their at .5 ohms

And when 2 amps are hooked their wired at 1 ohm

Ok...hes retarded, please excuse him

Its like this:

I wasnt there for any of his amp install or runnin of wire so who knows what happen with that

But i was there yesterday to hook up the speakers to the amps......hook both amps up to both subs and its just outta wack....subs fighting each other bad

Soo....disconnected that....wired them together to each amp..first amp...ouch same problem(but he thought it was good, clearly doesnt know what is goin on) so took that off....tried next amp....it was fine...muchhhh louder, much cleaner....both subs playing together fine

Than i left and he SAID he went got other amps and swapped out but i wasnt there and no clue what happen, i doubt he tried the other 2 amps seperately

But for sure...one amp i tried was messed up...and one was good

Thats all i can say for sure

Sounds like a bad amp OR out of phase sub woofers. Could be pretty easy to wire something out of phase with all the voice coils and such. Although that wouldn't make much sense if they are wired to 1 amp and sound fine. Leads me to believe it has to be the amp.

bingo, unless its .5 ohm stable, but wire them at a higher ohms, im not sure what your ohms is on your subs, but wire it higher than .5, that may be the problem

Like i said, i had to clear it up...just read my post

When it WAS at .5 it was fine with one amp
